GCSE Ensemble Performance Recital

The GCSE Ensemble Performance Recital is billed as a celebration of the work of  the Year 10 candidates. It will take place on Tuesday 20th March between 4 pm and 5.30 pm, and the performances are to be recorded for examination purposes.

Students involved are expected to practice at home and to attend all rehearsals punctually. The rehearsal schedules will be distributed through form tutors, as well as being published in the Music Department and at key places around the school. As this is a formal concert, dress on the night of the performance is full school uniform.

In the week before the concert, those students wishing to perform as a soloist will be given the chance to audition.

Parent, carers, extended family and friends are welcome to attend, there is no charge to attend, however,  any money donated will be used to purchase musical instruments and equipment.  There will be an opportunity to donate after the concert, but also when applying for tickets through ParentPay.

The Music Department are delighted to be able to give their students this chance to showcase their skills. GMS are grateful to everyone who is giving their time to make this evening a success.
