Year 11 Information Evening

A Year 11 Information Evening is being held on Thursday 21st September,  from 6:30pm for an hour, in the main hall. All parents and carers are encouraged to attend this final important meeting leading up to GCSEs.
One part of the evening will be devoted to explaining the application process for post KS4 places. Students have to apply to a place of study in the next academic year. Experience has taught us that students who have a goal to aim for work hard to achieve that goal. However, it is equally important that students have a back-up plan; an alternative option. With the extra security of two options, students can focus on working towards achieving or exceeding their target grade.
For those wishing to apply for a place at GMS there is a Sixth Form Open Evening planned for later in the year.
The Information Evening offers an opportunity for parents and carers to ask questions, but, please be advised that, individual subject teachers will not be present.
