Cyber Bullying

It makes no difference if bullying happens in or outside school, offline or online – nobody deserves to be bullied.

If a student is being bullied or suspects a friend is being bullied they can contact the school counsellor online, either giving a name or anonymously. Alternatively, students can speak to a member of staff in LGS.

It is most important that all users of the internet use it POSITIVELY and SAFELY.

Staying safe on Social Media

Social networking means sharing information online with others and staying ‘connected’, but there’s some information you should never share online. Protecting yourself from sharing Too Much Information (TMI) can save you from identity theft, protect your physical safety and help prevent cases of sex exploitation among many other things. Remember what you put online stays online forever!

GMS wish to make all internet users aware that they leave an irreversible virtual footprint—which can be used against them in the future.
