SEN Administration Role

  • The primary function of this role is to support the administrative requirements of the Learning Support Department.
  • Such responsibilities may include some of the following dependent upon an applicant’s skillset and experience.
  • Lead on a select number of Annual Reviews of Education, Health and Care Plans.
  • Organise and complete the documentation required for Annual Reviews of Education, Health and Care Plans.
  • Liaise with external agencies.
  • Arrange visits from specialist teachers and therapists.
  • Plan exam timetables.
  • Organise exam access arrangements for internal / external assessments and exams

Meet weekly with SENCO / Head of Learning Support.

The successful candidate will work 39 weeks of the year, 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3.30 pm on Friday.

We require an LSA to join our enthusiastic and committed team supporting children with Special Educational Needs throughout the school.

We are an oversubscribed school and the school of choice for many students with Special Educational Needs due to the excellent level of support and care provided.

The successful candidate will primarily be supporting students within lessons and will be expected to attend appropriate training offered by the school.

Experience of supporting students is advantageous but not compulsory as training will be provided.
