District Athletics Championships

Last Wednesday GMS competed in the annual Year 9 and 10 District Athletics Championships.

In total, 12 schools attended, a mixture of secondary upper, grammar, single sex and co-ed. GMS were placed first in the secondary upper of all categories of Year 9 and 10 for both boys and girls. GMS boys were also placed 3rd in both categories. They were only to be beaten by John Hamden Grammar School and Royal Grammar School who have nearly twice as many boys to choose from.
