Induction Day and Parents’ Evening 7th July

Induction Day for pupils and Parents’ Evening for parents and carers of the new year 7 intake both take place on Tuesday 7th July.

Induction Day – 8:35 – Main Hall.

• The day begins with a presentation in the main hall at 08:35 and pupils should be seated in the hall by this time.
• Pupils should wear their normal primary school uniform.
• Food at break time will be provided for all pupils by the canteen, in the form of a snack bag.
• Pupils must bring a packed lunch with them for the meal in the middle of the day.
• The canteen will be open for drink sales at lunch time.
• Those pupils qualifying for free school meals will be fully catered for.
• Parents and carers should arrive to collect their child from the main school entrance at 14:30.

 

Parents’ Evening  – 7pm – Main Hall

The Parents’ Evening on Tuesday 7th July is an information evening especially designed for the parents and carers of pupils joining Great Marlow School in year 7 in September 2015. It commences at 19:00 in the hall, and will give parents and carers a chance to learn more about year 7. An opportunity is provided for parents and carers to meet their child’s form tutor. The evening is part of the on-going commitment by GMS to provide a smooth transition from primary to secondary school.
