New Head Boy and Girl 2015-16

It is with great pleasure that Great Marlow School can announce the appointment of the new Head Boy and Head Girl for 2015-16.

The Head Girl is Ishbel Cumming supported by  deputies Scarlett Roberts and Thomasen Holliday.

The Head Boy is Mark Shepherdson and he is ably assisted by Romario Webster-Nichols and Ted Watts. 

GMS are very proud of these individuals, and of all those who had the courage and desire to put themselves through the selection process.

The candidates had to write a letter of application outlining why they felt they were suitable for the position; what skills they had that would facilitate them in the role; and how they could contribute to the day-to-day lives of their peers and to the rest of the school.

After a series intense and challenging questions from the Sixth Form Team in an interview, a decision was reached. It is worth adding that all those students interviewed were a true credit to their year group. Maturity, diligent research, confidence, creativity and loyalty to Great Marlow School were displayed by all in abundance and it made the selection process a very difficult one.

With the building of the new Sixth Form Centre nearing completion, Key Stage 5 students at Great Marlow School are entering a new era and have the opportunity to reach even higher levels of success. GMS are excited about the team that has been assembled and are confident that they are ready to be part of the school’s  bright future.
