In the article promoting the cake sale for Rett’s syndrome, the phrase “In our own small way, GMS can support Rett UK” was used. This, perhaps, was an understatement because GMS pupils and staff have raised an astonishing £478.16. A huge thank you goes to: all those who baked the cakes, all those who gave up their time to sell them and all those who brought them.
Rett syndrome is a devastating condition affecting 1 in 12,000 baby girls every year. Families who have children with the syndrome need help; this money will certainly help the charity provide support to parents who need it.
