Year 12 UCAS trip – 18th March

On Wednesday 18^th March 2015, all of Year 12 will be attending the Thames Valley UCAS Higher Education Conference organised by Adviza Berkshire at the Rivermead Leisure Complex in Reading.

The day is a fantastic opportunity for students to access staff, tutors and information from some of the top universities in the country, as well as talk to GAP year agencies and access financial support services. There is a variety of career path guidance available with many professional organisations and apprenticeship stands.

The trip is compulsory for all Year 12, as it is at this point in their A level studies that they should be thinking seriously about which path they wish to choose upon leaving Great Marlow School. This event will no doubt assist them in focusing on their decisions.

All students should dress as they would for any normal school day i.e. no jeans, trainers, leggings etc. Students should also make sure they have been on the UCAS site and been issued with a personalised ticket for the event. It is crucial that they have this ticket with them on the day of the trip.
