Equestrian Success for Millie Simons

A Great Marlow School pupil was entered as a competitor in the recent Jumping With Style (JWS) equestrian competition, at the Berkshire College of Agriculture in Burchetts Green. Millie Simons negotiated the tough course skilfully, succeeding in completing an excellent clear round.

Millie is just 15, this was her first JWS competition riding on her Irish horse. The competition took place in an arena set out with cross country style jumps that had to be negotiated against a clock. Competitors were marked on their style as well as how well they jumped.

Millie’s clear round gave her 4th place in the individual event: a great personal success for her.
