Charity Rounders Match

A few members of staff took on a select few pupils in a Staff verses Sixth Form Rounders Test Match. There was a series of 3 games played over a three week period. The lunchtime games were umpired by 7R, who combined this task with selling confectionary to raise money for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Unit. The staff were delighted to have won every game: they demonstrated dedication, teamwork and sporting prowess. The Sixth Form played professionally and competitively making the matches exciting to watch. GMS thank all those involved as the whole process raised £60 for the named charity.
