Jeans for Genes 23/09

In GMS’s assemblies and Thought for the Week this week, the Science Department has led on Jeans for Genes, a charity that supports children with genetic disorders. The charity works incredibly hard to fund research into genetic disorders and provide support for families who are affected by a genetic disorder. Over successive years students and staff have raised a substantial amount of money for this important and influential national children’s charity, which has changed lives.

On Friday 23^rd September, our school is supporting this charity by holding a non-uniform school day. Students are invited to wear an item of denim and we ask all who participate to make a voluntary contribution of £1 or more, made payable on Wisepay from now. All donations are gratefully received.
