Gold DofE

GMS is very fortunate to have Gary Fitch, an experienced expedition leader, coming to the school to talk to students about undertaking a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition at Gold level.

Gary is an experienced, qualified leader, and will be delivering this presentation on behalf of the expedition company ‘WithDave’. WithDave offers a range of expedition formats in the DofE programme, and encourages participants to make an expedition on their own. Their belief is that students should own, organise and deliver their Gold expedition, creating an experience they will never forget.

WithDave has a firm belief that young people should have the opportunity to plan their dream expedition, choosing where they would like to go, how they would prefer to travel, and who they want to share their adventure with.

Gary Fitch will be delivering his presentation on Monday 18^th July from 3-4 pm in the Sixth Form Centre.

Primarily aimed at Year 11/12 students, but anyone with an interest in a Gold DofE expedition is welcome to come along.
