Results-Junior Maths Challenge
This year, in the Junior Maths Challenge, over 100 students took part. The number of students entering has increased year on year. GMS Maths Department always encourages independent study in preparation for this event, as it reflects on students’ resilience and resourcefulness, that independent study is reflected in these awards.Kavin Ravikumar – Gold; he achieved the highest score in the school – well done.
Silver Awards went to Nikita Johnson, Brodie Kennedy, Albie Collins, Alexandra Bartosz,
A Bronze Medal was awarded to Joey Timson, who achieved the highest score in Year 7 – well done.
Bronze Medals also went to Joel Blatt, Alex Blatt, Ronak Chana, Freddie Hayday, Leon Koplin, Max McKay, Daisy Mitchell, Sebastian Pearce, Benjamin Richter, Kayla Shillito, Apoorva Singh, Matty Smith, Megan Sylvester, Abbie Weedon, Dan Wetenhall, William De La Force, Joshua Goult, Alice Napthine and Sean Stevens.
Huge congratualtions to everyone who took part, not just the medal winners. Thanks to the Maths Department who take time to organise this event several times in an academic year and especially Mrs Bansal, who takes the lead.
