Silver Presentations DoE

Following the success of the Bronze presentations, those who have completed their training and expeditions for the Silver Duke of Edinburgh will deliver their presentations on the evening on 22nd June. This important event will take place in the Redgrave Sports Centre classrooms.

All students are required to participate in order to qualify for the award. Some will present individually, others in groups, but everyone offers feedback on the aims set prior to the assessment, and how successful they were. The aims are personal to the students and vary from learning the countryside code to cooperating and working well together as a team.

Parents and carers are welcome. The evening is a celebration of success as participants share their experiences and  entertain with an account of their journey. This is a one-off opportunity to hear how the 2018 Silver Duke of Edinburgh students fared on their challenging journey.

As this is an essential part of the qualification, students have to wear school uniform. Should there be extenuating circumstances why a student cannot attend, Mrs  Murray must know, as a matter of urgency.
