Science Club
This academic year, Year 7 and Year 8 students have joined together for science club. The Year 8s have supported the Year 7s in a fantastic way. The enthusiasm from the Year 7 students has been overwhelming.
They have observed a number of exciting demonstrations including:
– Methane Rocket!
– Elephants Toothpaste!
– Whoosh Bottle!
– Screaming Jelly Baby!
There have been messy hands with some “Alien Slime”. Marvellous rafts, and tremendous balloon race cars have been built!
After the Easter holidays we will be welcoming a number of chicken eggs into the science block and the students will be responsible for regulating their temperature and the upkeep of the incubator until the chicks are hatched and ready to be cared for – EGG-citing! 😉
