Annual Careers Fair

On Friday 9th February, GMS are hosting their annual Careers Fair in the hall and 6th Form Centre.

This year, 25 businesses and organisations have been invited. As in previous years, they will provide information about post 16 and 19 routes to a career. Each guest runs a stall and is on hand to discuss their organisation with the students in Year 9-13. In addition, Construction and Paragon Apprenticeships (CITB) are running a seminar in T3  at break-time to provide more information about what they offer; this is targeted at Year 10 and 11 students.

All the year groups have a timed slot to attend with their class teacher and will have approximately 30 minutes to visit the stalls, ask questions and collect booklets.

Prior to the event, GMS ask that parents and carers talk about the work place and career opportunities they have experience of .
