Calling all Rowers

The rowing season is starting at GMS with a whole raft of meetings and training sessions. For rowers in Year 8 and Year 9 there was a meeting on Thursday 7th, at lunchtime, in the sports hall. This meeting was for all students who want to row, whether they have participated previously or not. If you missed it please find time to go and see Mr Murison.

For Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 training began last weekend. There may be students in these year groups who rowed for a while then stopped or have never rowed. It is not too late to join, go to see Mr Murison or Piers Barnett in the sports centre. Of course, the sooner you enrol the better.

For our newcomers in Year 7, their rowing begins this week, with a meeting to determine who wishes to become involved. Details to follow.

The Swans Website has information on all upcoming events, so that is a must go to place to visit.
