Coffee for New Parents 8th Sept

On the 8th September, Great Marlow’s parent association, Friends of Great Marlow (FoGMS), have organised a coffee morning for all new parents and carers to the school.

This is a staple in the annual events organised by FoGMS and has always proved popular. Its success lies in the timing: new students have been in school for two days, time for parents and carers to adjust to the new routine, but also to have queries that need answering.  Old friends from previous schools have time to meet up and share experiences, but, more importantly, those gathered can meet new acquaintances. In this informal forum, participants can learn much about the school from those who have been involved with it for some time. Coffee, and the all important biscuits, will be served from 10 am until 11 am by the volunteers who make up the dedicated FoGMS team. For those interested, there will be flyers showing you how to join the FoGMS association ahead of their AGM at 7pm on 4th October in the Britannic Pub, situated opposite the school.

All newcomers are welcome, whether your child is in Year 7 or any other year.
