Uniform

The recent Ofsted showed our school to be very successful. Our high standards in attendance, behaviour, being properly equipped and wearing the correct school uniform is important to GMS because this gives each and every child the very best chance of learning well and achieving their very best.

The school uniform policy on the website can be found by going to School Life and selecting Uniform and Jewellery from the drop down menu.

On Wednesday, GMS wish all students to be dressed correctly and appropriately; staff want to avoid unnecessary confrontations with your child, therefore we request that parents and carers read the uniform policy.

School shoes are expensive, but we have had issues in the past where money has been spent purchasing footwear that does not take note of the Uniform Policy. To avoid the school being at odds with the student, please could the correct shoes be worn, in order to avoid an unproductive, negative atmosphere.

If  your child has piercings, please ensure that they are removed for school. This will be strictly enforced at the beginning of term.
