Mr Kevin Ford, Headteacher said, “Another phenomenal year for Sixth Form students at Great Marlow School. The percentage of students achieving grades A*-B and A*-C was once again outstanding. These results demonstrate that the school is continuously providing high quality education and, very importantly, all students feel challenged and supported to achieve their very best.

We wish all our students every success as they progress to the next phase of their lives and thank them for their contribution to the cultural and social life of the school. In addition, I would like to thank all staff at the school, as these results are testament to their dedication and hard work. The achievements of this cohort of students will continue to inspire future generations.”

The Director of Sixth Form, Owen Hollyman, commented on the year group: “The students have achieved in their academic performance, in their contribution to the life of the school and in the Marlow community. Year 13 students should be justifiably proud of their achievements.

We are delighted that so many have been successful in attaining university places on some of the most competitive courses in the country including the top Russell Group universities, such as Birmingham, Kings College London, Liverpool, Southampton and York, as well as the Royal Veterinary College, London. Some of our students were able to overcome really challenging personal circumstances to achieve excellent results. This was due to the support and guidance given to them by the school, their families and to their diligence. Well done to all involved.

Finally, very best wishes to all the students as they move on to university, prestigious apprenticeships or employment.”
